Dan Hoyle, fresh off his run of The Real Americans, is a master of creating a diverse array of specific and distinct personalities within one show. He’ll use an on-your-feet approach for solo performance using observational techniques and exercises. You’ll acquire skills to both physically and emotionally distinguish your characters. Come prepared to move!

Dan Hoyle is the creator of his own unique form of journalistic theater. He won the prestigious 2007 Will Glickman ‘Best New Play’ Award for Tings Dey Happen, about Nigerian oil politics, which enjoyed extended runs at The Marsh and Off-Broadway at The Culture Project, where it was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show. He has written for the San Francisco ChronicleSportsIllustrated.comMother Jones and Salon. His style of writing and performing has been compared to Anna Deveare-Smith, John Leguizamo, Sarah Jones and Lily Tomlin.
